This year both Matthew and Ryan are playing soccer.
They call Ryan a bulldog, because he can hold the ball so well. He is having so much fun playing with all his friends and cousins. Update - Ryan scored two goals tonight. So cute!
Matthew is also having fun. He has played four games and has twelve goals. He really likes playing with his classmates from Freedom. He is learning the game and is passing the ball and playing good team soccer.
Zach tells us that he is playing too, even though he isn't, and always let us know that he won.
We also wanted to add some pictures of Andrew. The little guy is growing up so fast!
A quick story. Last Sunday we asked the boy's to put away their toy Lightsabers as we have a no weapons rule on Sunday. Matthew quickly responded to Ryan; "That's okay. We don't need Lightsabers we can use the FORCE."

No Girls Allowed
Amy bought Ryan this "No Girls Allowed" shirt a few months ago because it just fit so well with his personality. Well today we found out that it was true. We are expecting boy #4 in March 2011. We are very excited and can't wait to welcome the new little guy to our family!
If you have name ideas, send us an email. Amy doesn't like any of the names that I have suggested.

Moving - part 1
As most of you know, over the past few months we have been trying to sell our home. We love our little home and the wonderful neighborhood, but Kevin's two-hour daily commute is a little too long. Moving has triggered some interesting questions from Matthew - mostly about what goes and stays during a move such as doors, walls, lights, carpet, grass, beds and toys. We have also had many showings and now anytime we clean the house, Matthew asks, "Do we have a showing today?" The funny thing is, we don't know where we are moving yet. We are looking in northern Utah county but we haven't found the right house. Until then we will be staying with Kevin's parents in Perry (2 hours and 20 minute commute). Our phone number will be the same and you can always get a hold of us via email. We will have a house party for everyone when Amy finds what she wants. :)
We do want to thank everyone for being such wonderful neighbors and friends. It has been a wonderful time in our lives. We will be moving out on Saturday the 22nd so if you have a little free time on Friday or Saturday we welcome your help. We will be doing the big move Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. cleaning at 10:30. Doughnuts, Juice, Chocolate Milk, and blessings will be given to all who can help. Amy plans on bringing the kids back for the primary program so you haven't gotten rid of us yet.Moving and finding a new house has consumed much of our time, but life still goes on so here are some other fun things going on in our family. Zach is getting more confident with crawling and has now started cruising. We were very happy to see him, like his brothers, pulling himself up to look out the front window. I think it is genetic.
Zach also likes to play with the computer, at least the computer cords. He is drawn to anything electronic and is able to find any cord in any room. He also likes other things he is not supposed to have - legos, little cars, pens, crayons, etc.
Matthew and Ryan have also been doing the standard Home Depot projects. Here you can see their August project of a message and note board. We (mostly Kevin) are sad that Home Depot is no longer 3 minutes away.
And a special thanks to Eddie and Amber for the extra boxes. Muchas Gracias!

Speedy Zach
| Zach is such a calm happy little boy and he has been content to roll around instead of crawling. This last week that all changed and now Zach is 100% mobile. Gone are the days of just putting Zach in a spot and returning to find him in the same place. Zach has also quickly learned to stop and look for traffic as he navigates through our home of countless intersections. |

Warm impressions of the spirit
Today during church I was enjoying the lesson and I felt the warm impression of the spirit. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the warm impression of the Zach who had just blown out his diaper. Don't you just love church with children

Swimming Saturday
On Saturday it was finally warm enough to bring out the swimming pool. Matthew and Ryan wanted to go swimming without waiting for the water to warm up...after putting one toe in they decided to wait until later in the afternoon. Zach wasn't a big fan of the cold water. But he enjoyed getting some sun. :) Ryan is our little water bug and you have to drag him away from the swimming pool...usually shivering. It was a fun little swim.

Nine months old - Zach
Zach turned nine months old this week. He is so cute and we love him so much. He loves to wrestle with his brothers, roll around the room (finally!) and play outside. He can clap, wave bye-bye, and loves the words ma-ma and ba-ba. We are so happy to have Zach as part of our family.

Spring Cleaning
We have been doing a little bit of spring cleaning at our house and it is always fun to discover those hidden gems that one forgets about. Here are a few stories that we forgot to share. Above: Ryan hiding in the boxes.

Halloweenie Roast
My Aunts Gayle, Nola, and Jeneile put on a Halloweenie Roast every October at my Grandpa Tams' farm in Paradise. They have bonfires to roast hot dogs and decorate the barn as a haunted house. There are children's games and two tractor rides, one in a barrel train and the other in a wagon. The tractors take you over two acres of land decorated with various Halloween scenes. (The best way to describe it is like a drive through a Christmas light display, but it has a Halloween theme.) Honestly, it was amazing...I can't believe my Aunts and Uncles do it every year. We had a lot of fun and of course the boys didn't want to leave. You can't go wrong with candy and tractors!

One Month
Zach and Amy have both survived the first month! Zach is gaining weight and growing everyday. Amy hasn't lost too much sleep and is amazing for taking care of Zach all night and Matthew, Ryan and Zach until I get home from work.
We even made our annual trip up Provo Canyon to get fall pictures! This is one of Amy's favorite things to do. Zach has done better in the car than Matthew or Ryan did but I'm sure that it is nice to look at your brother's instead of the back of the car.
Zach has been eating well, he binges before bedtime and once or twice he has slept about four hours. Amy loves those nights! We are so excited to have Zach in our family. The boy's just love him and we really can't imagine life without the little guy (that's what Ryan calls him).
