Matthew's Preschool Graduation

Matthew had his preschool graduation on Tuesday night. His teacher Ms. Roper had a program at our church. This was the backseat conversation on the way there:

Ryan: Mafew, where are we going?
Matthew: To my graduation for preschool.
Ryan: Your graduation? That's so cool Mafew!

Matthew got to hold the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance (which he was super excited about) and got to tell about his favorite day in preschool (the Mother's Day brunch - how sweet!)
The kids sang some songs, showed their letters in sign language, and Ms. Roper reviewed a little of what they learned each month. Then it was time for the procession. He got to keep his hat and diploma. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

Memorial Day 2009

Today we went to the Logan cemetery to visit the graves of the boys' cousins - Ethan Tuft and Baby Tuft. The boys had a lot of questions and Matthew still remembers Ethan's funeral. It is a good day to remember the plan of salvation and the Savior.

Matthew & Ryan also had a fun time going on Tractor rides and playing with Jeneile's rocket balloons. We always love our trips to Paradise.

Preschool Crafts

Matthew made this for Amy. The note attached reads:

This little flower that you see,
was made for you, just by me.
There's only one like it in all the land,
because I used my own little hand.

Gifts from the heart

Matthew: Mom, what do you want for Mother's Day?
Mom: A few moments of peace.
Matthew: Well we can't get you THAT. It has to be something you buy.
