Egg Hunt

On Saturday morning we woke up and had the boys search for their Easter baskets. Matthew looked everywhere - except for the one place it was hidden. We finally convinced him to open some of the doors in the house and ta da! - he found it in the closet. Ryan was not a happy camper for a while knowing that his brother had something fun that he did not. Matthew helped Ryan track his down over in the corner by the piano. Ryan was especially pleased with the small KitKats and jelly beans (as evidenced by the wad in his mouth).

Later that day we went to the ward egg hunt. It was fun, although very windy and pretty cold. The boys got even more eggs and more candy and had doughnuts and apple juice afterward. Can anyone guess where this is going? Yes, sugar high for the rest of the day. At least they were happy. :)

Coloring Easter Eggs

We decided to color eggs the Friday night before Easter. Matthew and Ryan had a great time. Matthew enjoyed writing on the egg with the crayon to find the "secret message" after it was colored in the dye. He also liked the wrappers that shrink-wrap to the eggs.
This year we bought a sports themed kit which had a lot of stickers and things related to soccer, football, baseball, and basketball. Unfortunately this made the eggs seem even more like balls to Ryan who insisted on throwing them against the table. To this day he still calls eggs balls. I'm afraid one day I may find eggs all over my floor from my little ball-bouncer.

St. Patrick's Day

Again, please excuse us while we are trying to catch up a little. Here are some fun pics from St. Patrick's Day. We made some shamrock cupcakes and they were the hit of the day. Matthew couldn't stop talking about them. I got the idea from Family Fun magazine. They have a lot of fun things to do and make on their website as well - familyfun.go.com. I think Matthew and Ryan just liked the fact that everything was green.

More funny pictures

Forgive us as we update our blog. We have missed a few pictures so we are catching up.

I am amazed at all the craziness that goes on in our house! Too much fun. The picture to the right is Matthew playing with Kevin's tie. Matthew thinks that anything rope like is a fishing pole and he is fishing for Ryan. The underwear ended up on Ryan's head because he thought it was a hat.

Building Grandma's Plane

Ryan is a pretty funny guy. He is just ready to relax and take a break.

Some time ago Grandma Tams gave Matthew a plane to build. We recently uploaded the pictures onto the computer and we stumbled upon some great building shots.

Thanks for the plane Grandma
