Teething Ryan

Ryan has been working on teeth for the past few weeks. Three have cut through in the last few days and the forth should cut soon. All four are on the top. He has woken up a few times the last few nights because of the pain. Hopefully this onslaught of teeth will slow down. By the way, Ryan has started to grind his teeth...Amy really doesn't like that.

Silly Matthew

Matthew sure does have an imagination. He informed us the other day that he was going to be a spider when he grew up. He loves to sing funny songs and make up silly stories. What a character!

Rollover Ryan

Ryan is doing great a rolling over. He is getting very close to crawling. He is getting up on his hands and then pushing off with his toes. Hopefully we will get the home secured before he starts exploring the lower areas of our home. We are excited that he will be crawling soon but we are saddened that we can't keep him in one area. Oh well.

Carl and Brookes Wedding

On Wednesday we attended Carl and Brooke's wedding. It is nice to have another person who can carry on the Tams family name. Carl's family had done a great job at doing the little things. It was a lot of fun but it was hot.

Because the luncheon was in Salt Lake and the reception was in Bountiful we decided to set up our base camp at Amy's parents house. Amy got her hair cut and Matthew and Ryan got to spend some quality time with Amy's Mom. Amy's sister Brittany also dropped by with Dillon and Mylie.

At the reception I was able to speak with my old friend Brett and his family. Brett is still working in construction management and it appears that his family is really doing great. It would be nice to be closer to the family in Northern Utah but we are happy to have a home and a job.

Moving the Piano

Today my parents brought my piano from my home in Perry to Provo. The piano was a gift from my mother following the passing of her mother (my grandmother). My grandma had given us her old piano and she always wanted us to play the piano. My mother thought that it would be great for way for us to remember my Grandma Coombs and to remember the music she brought into our lives.
The piano is out of tune but we will need to wait until the piano is acclimated to it's new location before we can tune it. So we will wait three or four months before we will tune it. Matthew is very excited to have the piano and Amy is excited to start learning again. We are happy to have the piano.
